There is a huge world of vegan comfort food that truly tastes great and is good for you. So here is my list of 10 vegan comfort foods that really taste good:

I’d be remiss if I didn’t include the pizza pie in this article. While there are many variations on the base recipe, it’s always good with some tomatoes, some herbs and a dash of olive oil. Add some spinach or bean sprouts and voila, you have a healthy slice of pizza.

One of my all time favorite comfort foods is hummus. There are many different brands and types but my favorite are Tahitian style. It’s creamy and goes great on a bagel, which is just about everyone’s favorite breakfast food today. You can use the chickpea dip for dipping into the hummus or mix it with nuts and olives for a snacktime treat.

While ice cream is almost universally known as a dairy product, there are some good alternatives. My favorite is soy ice cream. It’s creamy and has a nice texture. One of my favorite places to get soy ice cream is at Earth’s Best, which is located in the San Francisco Bay area. They also have other vegan friendly frozen yogurt products and even a vegan ice cream sandwich cake.

As far as sandwiches go, there are quite a few options. If you are feeling adventurous, try making your own sandwich. One option is to make a soft toasted sandwich using rolled oats. Another option is to make a sandwich from whole wheat bread.

One of the things I do on a regular basis is to eat hummus. Hummus is a popular option because it’s both creamy and healthy. If you don’t like the taste of vegan ice cream, try some fresh, tangy hummus. You can find it in many places, including the refrigerated section of your supermarket.

For dessert, you can’t go wrong with vegan chocolate cake. It’s one of the tastiest desserts you can eat and it’s extremely healthy too. Just be sure to make your own vegan chocolate cake. The easiest way is to buy a chocolate cake that is already made and then just add vegan chocolate pudding to make it into a cake. You won’t miss the creamy chocolate flavor and you’ll enjoy the healthy ingredients too.
